Check Whether a URL is Reachable

Usage

url_exists(url, timeout = 10)

Arguments

url

Character string. The URL to check.

timeout

Numeric. Connection timeout in seconds. Default 10.

Value

TRUE if the URL responds, FALSE otherwise.
